The response from visitors who stopped by was significant Rocca dei Rettoriinstitutional and museum headquarters of the Province of Benevento, open to the public on spring weekends as part of the initiative «RoccAperta» desired by the president Nino Lombardi. On Sunday 28 April alone, over 400 people signed the guest register: «Taking into account that, usually, only 4 visitors out of 10 sign – underlined by the Province in a note – it is easy to conclude that we are faced with figures important and of absolute importance. Many of the visitors were pilgrims who had been traveling the Via Francigena for a few days.” Data, among other things, in line with the weekend of April 25th, as well as, moreover, with Monday in Albis. Among the presences are foreign tourists (also coming from Mexico and Germany) and from all Italian regions (from Sicily to Veneto passing through Calabria, Lazio, Marche, Tuscany and other regions).
Also for the weekend of May 1st the Rocca dei Rettori will be open to the public: «RoccAperta» adopts the following entry times for visits to the Lombard-Renaissance monumental complex: from 9am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7pm.
