On the season at Basel:
“Renato Veiga is very ambitious. The idea was always to join Basel, have a good season and help the club achieve its goals. At the moment his recovery from the injury is progressing well, he has already started running again. He will return to play within a few weeks. Fortunately, the damage suffered from the sprained ankle was not severe, but annoying. I can’t wait for him to return. He had the opportunity to grow and show himself in the eyes of bigger clubs. At the end of the season he wants to take the next step, if the conditions suit him and Basel. He is now capable of playing at higher levels“.
On Milan:
“What I know is that Milan has been following Renato Veiga for a long time. Obviously with the opening of the market they could try the lunge, now they are still interested and observing its performance. However, there is nothing concrete yet, no official offer from Milan“.
