Training and work: the situation in Italy, in Savona on May 13th a conference on how to grow skills

Spreading the culture of training and financed training tools and extending awareness of the opportunities that companies possess: this will be discussed on May 13th during the conference that will take place in Savona organized by Evergon Trainingtogether with Aidp and the Industrial Union of the province of Savona.

Evergon Training is a legal entity that deals with training financing, supported by Enzima12, a venture builder operating in the training and employment services sectors, which operates mainly in Savona and its province, acting as a point of reference for Liguria .

This first event in the Ligurian territory is open to everyone, aimed in particular at HR managers, young professionals and entrepreneurs, to raise companies’ awareness of the tools they have at their disposal with the aim of increasing the skills of their employees and at the same time their competitiveness of the company itself.

THE interprofessional funds they play an important role in the field of training: Italy, on the topic of payment for continuous training, is far behind other European countries, recording only 0.30%.

In the period 2018-2022, the funds published 358 notices, allocating more than 611 million euros for training activities. This is the picture that emerges from the Enzima12 report “Training and work: the situation in Italy“, the main object and theme of discussion of the conference, drawn up to systematise the most relevant data in the sector, such as that relating to participation in training activities, the situation in the field of training region by region in Italy, the comparison with the of Europe, the most active sectors and so on. A broad and rich report, in which, on the one hand, the role of training for the growth of a country emerges, as it is closely related to the production and economic system of a state and its GDP, and on the other, how to invest in lifelong learning to enable individuals to respond to market needs and be competitive.

With the moderation of Mattia Minuteresponsible for the human resources and trade union relations area of ​​the Industrial Union of Savona, the event will open at 5pm with institutional greetings and then leave the floor to the numerous speeches that will take place during the course of the meeting: we start with “The job and training market in Italy today” edited by Fabrizio Gallante, Co-founder Evergon Training and Managing Director Enzima12, who will outline a general snapshot of the Italian context and its current situation.

We will continue with a focus more on the Ligurian territory with the intervention “Territorial context and trends” by Mattia Minuto, “The action of the Liguria Region in support of professional training and active labor policies – An overview” edited by Paolo Sottili, general director of Alfa, the regional agency for work, training and accreditation, and “Critical skills for businesses: The value of training in the company” by Federica Modugno, HR Manager Italy & Spain Infineum.
