VILLORBA (TREVISO) – The community of Villorba mourns the passing of Alberto Pivato, well-known 32-year-old nurse who dedicated his life to a noble goal of providing palliative care and comfort to all those suffering in the last moments of life. Native of Villorba, he passed away suddenly yesterday evening due to a intestinal infarction following a few days of feeling unwell. His wife Beatrice (also a nurse) whom he had married only last December, discovered his body in the house, now lifeless. Unfortunately, the help provided by Suem 118 was of no avail and, despite repeated attempts at resuscitation, they later had to confirm his death.

Always passionate about the world of medicine, he had first began his working career as an Oss and then began his university studies in Nursing at the Portogruaro branch of the University of Padua, and subsequently moved to the Treviso branch where he then graduated. A mission, that of helping those who suffer, which also led him to follow a 1st Level Master’s Degree in Psychology again with the University of Padua, this time specializing in the accompaniment and end of life of patients. From 2020 to 2023 he then worked at the Casa dei Gelsi before starting a career as a freelance nurse.

He leaves behind his wife Beatrice and their daughter Ginevrahis mother, his father, his sister Sara and many friends and colleagues who immediately rallied around his family, offering support and affection in this moment of pain. The funeral will be held on Thursday 2 May at 4pm in the Ceremony House of the Ivan Trevisin Funeral Home in Viale Felissent in Villorba and then continue for the private cremation.
