The hamlet of Spinetta is half wired by the passage of optical fiber by the FiberCop SPA-Tim company, while the remaining part does not have access to broadband due to the lack of connections as the existing cabinets have not been prepared for the wiring of the entire fraction by constraining the entry and exit of the copper network, thus creating a separation between users who access broadband and those who cannot access it, causing considerable inconvenience.

The same problem concerns Roata Canale where fiber has recently been installed only in some areas, without considering the others.

City Councilor Monica Pellegrino, together with Councilor Ettore Grosso, immediately dealt with the problems in the hamlets of Spinetta and Roata Canale. A check revealed that the lack of cabling depends on interventions not carried out by the Tim manager.

As already reported last year, TIM’s coverage of the entire hamlets is once again requested, reviewing the cabling projects currently in use.

Overcoming the so-called digital divide is technically possible. Comparing ourselves with the City Councilor Silvano Enrici, with considerable experience on the subject, we found that from the point of view of laying the optical fiber cables, some areas would present ideal conditions as they would be installed on the Telecom poles already present which would make the transition easier so as to be able to reach a large number of users who, together with the undersigned, today complain about this lack.

Having also heard the opinions of the neighborhood committees and fractionists, we strongly and with interest request the FiberCop SPA-Tim company to provide total coverage of the fractions, thus guaranteeing an increasingly essential service for both work and non-work reasons. Furthermore, it should be noted that the three telephone operators Telecom, Open Fiber and Isiline, have laid more than a thousand km of fiber on the plateau and for this reason too we hope that coverage will be carried out completely, quickly, even in our hamlets.
