They rent an apartment in the working-class Tamburi neighborhood, inhabited mainly by the workers of the industrial plant. The husband films the chimneys from the balcony, the landscape is altered, the black rag is dirty with fine dust, Miriam recalls, having the clear impression that the air was already polluted then.
