Viterbo – Two people from Viterbo, aged 46 and 35, and a 33-year-old of Afghan nationality ended up in handcuffs

Viterbo – A quarrel that started between very young people, which then involved their mothers, fathers and companions. Children and parents of two different families who in a few minutes, on Friday afternoon, created panic at the Shrine. A maxiriss that risked turning into a tragedy, when a 46-year-old in a white Audi attempted to run over a 33-year-old, crushing him against a lamppost. And then causing the reaction of others present with baseball bat blows, kicks, punches and jerks.

The 46-year-old from Viterbo, Alessio Denocenti, ended up in handcuffs and under house arrest on charges of attempted murder, aggravated brawl and injury, as were Paolo Trabalzi, from Viterbo, born in 1988, and Hosseini Mohammad, born in 1990, both accused of aggravated brawl and injury.

This morning they will appear in court before the investigating judge for the validation hearing, so they will have the opportunity to provide their version of the facts and shed light on the reasons that triggered the very violent episode. On which the investigators are still trying to clarify, listening to the stories of the witnesses and sifting through the images and videos which in just a few minutes, already on Friday afternoon, began to circulate online.

Immediately arriving on the scene, alerted by passers-by, traders, families and tourists frightened by what was happening before their eyes, the police officers and the carabinieri seized a baseball bat and a hammer. The large engine car with which, according to the accusations, the 46-year-old Denocenti attempted to run over the 33-year-old Afghan Mohammad was also sealed.

In addition to the three arrests, four complaints were also made. Among the people referred to the judicial authorities, at large, there is also a minor.

And while the investigations by the police continue, the controversies and concerns of the residents and of those who, out of fear, have decided to no longer visit the historic center and the areas around the Shrine continue. “People already don’t come to the city out of fear – writes Tonino -. This is to the detriment of shops and restaurateurs. Let something be done.” And those who comment on the videos published exclusively by Tusciaweb underline “The shame of Viterbo…”.
