The Crociati, after a slight decline, took advantage of the home round against last-place Lecco, definitively condemning the lake side to Serie C and returning to +5 on second-placed Como, maintaining a six-point advantage over third-placed Venezia. Promotion therefore remains very close, but not yet mathematical for Parma, who will challenge Bari, Cremonese and Reggiana in the last three matches. Como’s schedule is simpler, even if in the next round they will face Cittadella who are still in the running for a playoff position and could give the Como team a hard time, while Venezia will play a lot on the difficult Catanzaro pitch. Mathematically speaking, Cremonese would also still be in the game, but they would have to hope for an incredible negative series against Como and Venice (in addition to winning them all) to grab second place: practically impossible. Parma’s mathematical promotion to Serie A could also come in the next round: this would happen in the event of a success for the Emilians in Bari and no victory for UA between Como and Venice.
