VILLAFRANCA PADOVANA (PADUA) – Murder on the morning of Saturday 27 April Villafrancain the province of Padua. The victim is Michael Boschetto, a 32-year-old Italian resident in the municipality and killed with a stab by a thirty-year-old, Giacomo Friso. Boschetto was found by rescuers around 6.30 am with a deep wound on his side, there was nothing that could be done for him. The alarm was raised by his girlfriend, who watched the scene helplessly. Victim and murderer, who tried to escape but was blocked by a policeman living in the area, are neighbors who have always been arguing. The Carabinieri and the police are investigating the case.

The victim and the murderer are two neighbours, across the street, who have always been at the center of arguments, clashes and even scuffles. They were thirty-year-olds who, for reasons still unclear, could never stand each other. And on Saturday night that hatred resulted in a crime. The nighttime brawl, which ended with the stabbing, and the crime took place under the eyes of the victim’s girlfriend. And it was she who raised the alarm and called for help.

THE KILLER’S ESCAPE

Meanwhile, the killer fled, while the Carabinieri arrived on site. But the noises woke up the dogs from nearby houses. A police inspector, who lives in the same neighborhood, then looked out to understand what was happening and noticed the thirty-two-year-old trying to climb over a fence. Having recognized him, he set out on his trail, coordinating with the 112 crew. Shortly afterwards he spotted the murderer half hidden in a hedge, chased him and caught up with him.

At the end of the investigation, the State Police and the Carabinieri proceeded with the joint arrest, flagrantly, of the thirty-year-old who was arrested immediately after the murder. The man is now available to the judicial authorities. The investigations are coordinated by prosecutor Benedetto Roberto.
