REGGIO – The AsproMarathon is underway

The eighth edition of theAsproMarathon Mtb Racethe cycling race – Mountain Bike specialty – organized by Team Rolling Bike.

The start is scheduled for 9.15am from Viale Zerbi and will see 50 athletes competing from all over Italy, who will pass through breathtaking views of the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria. They will also participate athletes with disabilities demonstrating that sport has no limits, as reiterated by Antonello Scagliola of the Italian Paralympic Committee, «sport is the same for everyone, the effort is the same for everyone, and thanks to the sensitivity of the organizers who strongly wanted the presence of the Paralympic committee».

The event was presented in the Hall of Chandeliers of Palazzo San Giorgio, in the presence of the metropolitan deputy mayor, Carmelo Versaceof the sports delegate of the municipality of Reggio Calabria, Giovanni Latella, Giuseppe Fotimember of Coni Calabria, Walter Malacrinoregional secretary of “Sport and Health”, e Antonello Scagliolaof the Italian Paralympic Committee.
