BUSTO ARSIZIO – He died after being hit by the train. The reference goes to the 35-year-old victim of the tragedy that occurred on Tuesday 30 April, just before 8pm near the Busto Arsizio railway station.
An ambulance from 118, two medical vehicles and the firefighters intervened on the scene. But for the 35-year-old there was nothing that could be done. Polfer and carabinieri were also at work and carried out the necessary investigations to identify the victim and to clarify what happened on the tracks.
The repercussions on railway traffic are severe: on the Milan – Gallarate/Varese line from 7.45pm railway traffic is suspended in the direction of Gallarate between Legnano and Busto Arsizio. Recorded delays reached 90 minutes, and there were route changes and numerous cancellations.
