Public Enemy Number One

Potenza’s public enemy number one is known… and tomorrow bears the name of Gabriele Artistico, nephew of Ciccio. Not a simple season for Virtus Francavilla, in full struggle not to be relegated from Serie C, with the almost mathematical certainty of having to play the playout, even if the success against Catania has still left the hope of avoiding the play-offs alive, a hope which however remains very minimal. Despite this, the year experienced by Gabriele Artistico on a personal level is of a completely different caliber, given that the center forward – to mention the first figure already – scored almost half of the goals scored by Mr. Alberto Villa’s entire team . Growing up with the Atletico 2000 shirt, despite his young age, “El Tiburòn” has already collected many experiences in his drawer: first with Parma, then abroad with NK Lokomotiva, and then Gubbio, Renate and now the one with the blue and white jacket. This grandson of art will certainly be picked up by a higher category club in the summer next year even if half of the proceeds from the sale of Artistico will end up in the coffers of Parma. Potenza will have to fear quite a bit tomorrow this player who alone if in day can put the opposing defenses in trouble but it is clear that the red-blue rearguard will have to set the record straight with him straight away.
