ANCONA Exhibitions, show cooking, insights. Tipicità in Blu returns, from 17 to 24 May, in Ancona. But with a completely revised and implemented format. «Ancona is the sea, and the sea is Ancona». With this maxim, the councilor for major events, Angelo Eliantonio, put his hat on an event that has been stopping in Ancona for years. But with the edition starting, the current municipal administration wanted to significantly accelerate the further development of the event in the area.

Path

Initiatives from sea to sea, this is the common thread that links all the events in line with the vision of the Silvetti council which, from the beginning of its mandate, has focused on recovering the ideal link that unites the Passetto to the Port. Thus the 2024 edition of Tipicità in Blu will also unfold along the route that from the Passetto overlooking the sea leads to the Mole Vanvitelliana up to Marina Dorica. «A preparatory occasion for the sea festival and high-level content» reiterated Eliantonio.

The program

It starts in Marina Dorica. From Friday 17th to Sunday 19th May it will become the home of Tipicità in Blu, with insights into boating, guided tastings from typical Ancona specialties to balanced diets, from stockfish to alien fish species that have arrived in the Adriatic in recent years. On Saturday and Sunday the tasting stand dedicated to the wines of the “Vigneto Marche” will debut and the “Sailing chef” will be revived, the original gastronomic regatta that combines nautical sport and taste. From 20 to 24 May the event will arrive at the Passetto where, in the scenic setting of Unicorn, the blue economy days and the hackathon “The Blue Way” will be held, dedicated to young people to transform creative sea-themed ideas into projects. «Young people and the sea is an important combination to keep the new generations in Ancona» stated the councilor for youth policies Marco Battino. Furthermore, the Mole will become the setting for two exhibitions: one in the Vanvitelli room, dedicated precisely to the figure of Vanvitelli, and one in the Boxing room with photos of port life in Ancona.
