PISA – Circular economy, valorisation of resources and food waste, healthy and, above all, sustainable eating. Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April – from 10am to 8pm – Pisa becomes there again capital of taste and good food thanks to the thirteenth edition of Taste countersthe event organized by CNA Pisa and organized with the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa and in collaboration with Terre di Pisa, the Chamber of Commerce of North-West Tuscany, the Terre Pisano-Livornesi Rural District, the Valdera Valdarno Inferiore Rural District and the Val Rural and Organic District of Cecina.

Now in its 13th edition, the “two days” organized by the Pisan trade association confirms itself not only as a fixed appointment on the taste market below Banchi lodges, but also a lounge open to all those who want to learn about the principles of nutrition and gastronomy, with the related historical, environmental and health aspects. The initiative, in fact, in addition to the usual stalls where it is possible to purchase and taste the products of the supply chain, will host seminars and debates with professors from the University of Pisa, show cooking with international names in starred cuisine and book presentations.

The great novelty of this edition is the participation, directly from MasterChef, by the winner of the 13th edition, Eleonora Riso, who will present her book published by Baldini + Castoldi on Sunday 28 April.

Ribbon cutting scheduled for TOMORROW, April 27th at 11am in Logge di Banchi and open, both Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 8pm with free admission.

“Short supply chain, starred chefs and internationally renowned guests but also debates, seminars and in-depth moments related to food sustainability with professors from the University of Pisa: over time, Banchi di Gusto has created and enhanced the typical nature of Tuscan products by encouraging meetings between producers and food experts – comments CNA Pisa in a note -. Over the years it has also seen the involvement of Maîtres Chocolatiers, master bakers and pastry chefs who have valorised, during well-attended cooking shows open to the public, the products present under the Logge, offering, at the same time, an excellent showcase and a business card for the many tourists and visitors who, passing through the city of the Leaning Tower, will be able to enjoy experiential tourism sublimated by many food and wine delicacies”.

In addition to sales and tastings, we remind you, there will be interactive cooking shows thanks to the presence of journalists and food influencers and interviews with teachers and experts: an appeal, therefore, for lovers of good food, healthy and conscious eating and, above all, , for those who want to know the origin of the products and the principles of the circular economy.
