04/26/2024 – Andrea Biancani, from his electoral headquarters in Largo Tre Martiri, presented the candidates of his civic list “Biancani Mayor – The extra gear for Pesaro”.
“A list of 32 men and women who will bring an edge to the city thanks to their experiences, passions and skills. I am very happy that this list is able to represent all the neighborhoods and many realities of Pesaro, from the third sector to the world of work. The contribution of the civic lists is increasingly important not only from an electoral perspective but also as a tool for involving and listening to citizens, thanks to the candidacy of people involved in the city who can be a point of reference for many Pesaro residents”.
“I am very happy and proud of this list – explained Biancnai – it was not easy to compose it, to find 32 people trying to respect gender equality, territorial and work representation, in a historical moment in which people who give a real willingness to run with commitment, so much so that there are national parties that are struggling to close the local lists. We, however, have composed a very valid and motivated team and we have chosen the slogan ‘The extra gear for Pesaro’ because I believe that the people who make up this list are able to make a positive contribution to the future administration of the city. Here there are people from the so-called civil society, known in their work or association spheres, of which only 4 come from the experience of the last Administration. This will not be a limit for the list, because we have chosen quality people, who if elected will make an important contribution to the city in terms of ideas, skills and ability to listen to citizens”.
“As I have said several times, in fact, the next challenges for the Municipality will be, on the one hand, completing the large investments started by the previous Council, in particular on large cultural containers, schools and public spaces, and, on the other hand , improve the ability to listen and discuss with citizens, because for us even small interventions in neighborhoods and maintenance will be important, and for this reason it is essential to have a team of people known and respected in the city who are truly a point of reference for citizens. Among the other issues for which we will work, priority are social policies and policies for the most vulnerable people, for families, for young people and for the environment”.
Finally, thanks to the candidates and good luck in the election “I hope that our list obtains a good result, because the creation of a civic list in support of the mayor is a means of showing off for each other, I will put my face on disposition of the candidates, with conviction because I have chosen people I respect, and the candidates will put forward a relationship of trust for my election which I hope will also lay solid foundations for future work”.
Biancani then launched the next appointments “tomorrow morning we will host the first banquet of the civic list, in Viale Zara, to collect signatures to officially present the list and on Monday 29 April at 12 at the former railway warehouse under the De Sabbata railway overpass, we will present officially the center-left coalition together with all the lists that will support my candidacy for Mayor”.
Some data on the candidates: the list is made up of 17 men and 15 women, the average age is 52 and the youngest candidate is 22. There are various professions within it: teachers, public and private company employees, freelancers professionals, traders, nurses, social workers, public transport operators, students and representatives of the sporting world. Also present were representatives of the Macedonian, Armenian and Albanian communities.
