Rockafe 2024 warms up its engines and opens the call for participation

The notice has been released for musical groups that intend to participate in the 2024 edition of the Rockafe competition, which will be held from 29 May to 9 June as always in Malborghetto di Boara.

The event dedicated to emerging bands is divided into two sections. The first is dedicated to bands with an average age of members under 30 who present songs of their own production and the winner will be awarded the “Paolo Laccetti Memorial”. The second is a review which, at the discretion of the organisation, may give space to groups which do not fall into the previous category due to age or repertoire but have nevertheless passed the pre-selections.

No registration fee is required (and no type of compensation or reimbursement is foreseen) for both sections. To register you must send: the completed form (including the “Consent” section, personal data, a CV, a photo (in digital format), 1 song in audio format (mp4), the text and any translation for the songs own production, the email address of the “Execution Director” as per registration on the Siae mioBorderò Portal. All material for the pre-selections must however arrive by 22 April 2024.

The competition will take place through one or more semi-final evenings with four bands each. Each band must present songs for a maximum duration of 20 minutes. The finalists and those who are retained will be able to perform in the final, an evening at the end of which the prizes will be awarded.
