Car without handbrake slides in via Garibaldi

On a quiet morning in Gavi, a small accident interrupted the daily routine in via Garibaldi. A car, parked without using the handbrake, began to move independently until it collided with another vehicle parked nearby. Fortunately, the accident caused no injuries, but only minor damage to the vehicles involved.

The event occurred around 10 am, when the owner of the car failed to apply the handbrake. The car slowly picked up speed along the slight slope of Via Garibaldi, ending its run against another parked vehicle.

The Gavi Carabinieri promptly intervened on site to carry out the necessary investigations and manage the situation. Control operations confirmed that there were no injuries, and material damage was classified as minor.

This accident serves as a warning to all motorists about the importance of always using the handbrake, especially in areas with inclinations, to prevent unexpected risks and ensure road safety.
