The date to mark in the diary is May 24th, Pamochã, a well-known Champagne bar and cocktail bar in the heart of the historic center of Catania, will host Selosse Night, a super exclusive evening event. For the first time in Italy it will be possible to taste all thirteen labels (including the Millésime in two different vintages) produced by a legendary name in the world of Champagne: Domaine Jacques Selosse, plus a real gem signed Guillaume Selosse.
The evening is an unmissable event for all champagne enthusiasts who will have the opportunity to taste the entire production of this vigneron with a unique and unmistakable style that has conquered the world of Champagne.
Jacques Selosse’s Champagnes are complex and refined, the result of a production philosophy focused on respect for nature and the valorization of the terroir. These are memorable and authorial interpretations, the expression of a unique style and great personality, capable of establishing themselves, year after year, as a point of reference for all Champagne lovers. Jacques Selosse is a great name in Champagne, a myth of French bubbles and a synonym of excellence.
The fourteen labels will be accompanied by fine international productions. Here is the menu for the evening: mafaldine with mortadella, lemon zest and black pepper, Gillardeau oysters, crostini with French butter and Cantabrian anchovies, buns with potato leaves, wild vegetables and A5 wagyu, baguette with tomato and jamón ibérico de bellota , trio of Piedmontese fassona tartare, focaccia with tomato, Galician mussels and caviar, selection of French cheeses, caviar. The tasting will be conducted by Manlio Giustiniani, Champagne expert and wine consultant.
