The portraits of the Scarampi from the castle of Camino”. The exhibition dedicated to the Monferrato painter presents, for the first time ever, the cycle of portraits of the Scarampi family which were commissioned from Pietro Francesco Guala for the main hall of the Camino castle. An international laboratory at the end of the sixteenth century”, created to tell the story of the creative civilization of the city between the 16th and early 17th centuries, focusing in particular on the sumptuary arts, close to the advent of international Mannerism in the years of the Catholic Counter-Reformation.
