Modena. THE carabinieri of the Radiomobile of Modena carried out a service during the night aimed at preventing crimes related to the violation of the driving rules dictated by the Highway Code, to prevent conduct that can cause road accidents with serious consequences. Equipped with breathalyzer, the military carried out several checkpoints on the city’s road traffic. Dozens of road users were stopped and subjected to blood alcohol tests. They were thus found positive two people who, subjected to the test, showed parameters well above those required by law, therefore driving their vehicles in a clear state of alcoholic intoxication.
For this reason both, aged 21 and 27 years oldwere reported in the state of
freedom to the local Public Prosecutor’s Office, resulting in the withdrawal of his driving license.
One of the two was also reported for the unjustified carrying of objects capable of offending, as she was caught in possession of a club over 60 centimeters long. The vehicle search also allowed the seizure of approximately 4 grams of hashishwith consequent administrative reporting to the Prefecture of Modena.
