The dates of the show Apropos of Rocco by and with Rocco Papaleo are recovered on April 27th in a double repeat (5pm and 9pm) previously scheduled for March 16th and 17th at the Teatro Traiano as part of the season born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Civitavecchia and ATCL – Multidisciplinary circuit of Lazio supported by MIC – Ministry of Culture and Lazio Region and with the contribution of the Cassa di Risparmio di Civitavecchia Foundation.
Rocco Papaleo in “About Rocco” leads the audience to discover his great passion for song-theater. Actor, author, director, showman, but also singer and musician: Papaleo has cultivated and skilfully practiced song-theater for 25 years, conducting the show between words and music, between songs, poetic and realistic stories, monologues and surreal gags. “About Rocco” is a show that presents itself as an album to be browsed through, made up of scattered thoughts, short notes and rhymes left pending that become words in music: a successful experiment that winks at Gaber and Basilicata . An anthological show, with a strong aptitude for interaction and play; a recital that always has the same starting point, but an always new goal and an always different road to reach it. “Apropos of Rocco” is an opportunity to talk about himself through songs and stories in which to find oneself, get excited and smile.
The show on April 27th will be at 5pm for subscription round B and at 9pm for subscription round A.
