On the occasion of the Anniversary of the Liberation, the Municipality of Velletri placed a laurel wreath at the War Memorial in Piazza Garibaldi.
This morning, Mayor Ascanio Cascella gave a speech in memory of the victims of the war to celebrate April 25th, a national holiday.
Present at the ceremony were several representatives of the council, the municipal council, civil, military and religious authorities, the fighting and military associations as well as the Civil Protection.
