“Shame is the word to say for what happened and what could have happened at the IVO OLIVETI CLASSIC HIGH SCHOOL in Locri. The poor if not absent maintenance in all schools in the province leads to these consequences. I, the undersigned, Maviglia Francesco, provincial vice president of the INDEPENDENCE MOVEMENT, express indignation and I don’t even want to think what could have happened if there had been someone present at the time the window collapsed.” He states this in a note Franco Mavigliaprovincial vice president of Reggio Calabria “Independence Movement” of the Sergio Ramelli Locri Club.

“The episode of a few days in Locri is the episode that could happen in all our schools. The degradation that persists in all school structures forces me to scream shame at the Mayor of the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria Falcomatà for the little or no attention paid to the aforementioned structures. I cannot understand the reason for this total disregard, despite the availability of funds.”

“It is not important to take photographs after having escaped the danger and ‘buffered’ the damage. It is prevented through maintenance and responsibility or at least after things happen you apologize and thank the Lord rather than appearing as the problem solver. We proceed with the work without much publicity for electoral purposes, which are an offense to all users of that school, if not to all citizens. Doing politics and administering a public good is very difficult. Today went well, tomorrow?”.
