Water service in Reggio Calabria, from 7 May Sorical takes over from Castore
Starting from the day after tomorrow, Tuesday 7 May 2024, Soricalthe Calabrian Water Resources Company, will completely take over the management of the water pipelines of the municipality of Reggio Calabria, taking the place of the municipality’s in-house company Castor Spl Srl.

The transition is the result ofagreement reached just over a year ago – it was April 3, 2023 – between the President of the Region, Roberto Occhiutoand the then acting mayor of Reggio Calabria, Paolo Brunetti. The Municipality of Reggio is the forerunner of the new course that it wants to undertake in Calabria linked to integrated water management.
