Young people and work were the topics at the center of the promotion of the hotel evening of the IIS “L. Einaudi”, organized by the representative Patrizia Cattani, at SpazioComune. It was a special open day, due to the unusual location and the exceptional guests: Alessandro Lupirestaurateur and president of FIPE (Italian Federation of Public Businesses)/Confcommercio, Massimo Rivoltininumber one of the homonymous Food Confectionery of Vescovato ed Emanuela Arcariformer student and now owner of the renowned “Biancaneve” pastry shop in Cremona.

The three entrepreneurs transformed the event into an educational moment for the citizens and for the class of student workers present, with whom they shared their experience and some considerations on the world of food and wine. Massimo Rivoltini spent flattering words towards the school in Via Bissolati, with which he collaborates closely, on the occasion of the most varied events in the Territory and underlined the importance of involving the new generations in catering. Alessandro Lupi instead focused on innovations and turnover, which have recently affected and redesigned the sector, during the Covid-19 pandemic, with the consequent demand for highly competent personnel.

Emanuela Arcari – who often returns to the “Einaudi” educational laboratories to offer lessons on the art of pastry making – emphasized how successful the decision to resume her higher studies was for her: after the dismissal caused by a company restructuring , the diploma allowed her to dedicate herself to her current activity, with great success.

The illustration of the training offer was entrusted to the principal Nicoletta Ferrarito vice Federica Gaboardito the manager Patrizia Cattani and teachers Veronica Danzi, Michele Franzini, Giuseppe Micocci, Massimiliano Ruscelli, Dionisi Zoppi. Daytime students Rebecca Lazzari and Andrea Magnacca also spoke, according to whom a good chef and an attentive and efficient waiter must cultivate interaction with customers and be able to satisfy their tastes and needs. The rich final refreshments prepared by the boys and Arcari obviously sold like hotcakes. Patrizia Cattani commented as follows: “We are grateful to those who accepted our invitation and were moved by the affection shown to us by Massimo Rivoltini. It was a beautiful evening, which allowed us to delve into interesting topics, without forgetting their human aspect, thanks to the contribution of established people in a profession, which certainly involves dedication and sacrifice, but which can give satisfaction to those who carry it out with passion“.
