SARONNO – The playoff schedule has been defined of the Interregional men’s basketball series B: Az Robur Saronno, dominated throughout the regular season, finds Lucca (first against eighth place). The other matches are Pavia-Siena (fourth against fifth), Empoli-Quarrata (second against seventh) and Cecina-Casale (third against sixth).

How this year’s playoffs work:

– all series will be best of three games, so you have to win two to go through. The first match of the series (game 1) and the eventual play-off (game 3) are played at the home of the best classified between the regular season and the Gold phase.

– the North West Conference draw brings together teams from Piedmont (1), Lombardy (2) and Tuscany (5). Liguria was also there at the start, but the last contender was eliminated on the last day of the play-in.

– the tennis scoreboard begins with the quarter-finals: Robur Basket Saronno will be on the court on Saturday 27 April at 9pm at PalaRonchi for Game 1 with Basketball Club Lucca.

– the next round is the semi-finals (winning 1/8 against winning 4/5 and winning 2/7 against winning 3/6) and then the final. All best of three games.

– the winner of the Conference final will be promoted to the National Serie B, while the loser is automatically qualified for the play-off which will be played with the defeat of the North East Conference final.
