Federico Zampini spoke to Il Resto del Carlino after the injury of Kadeem Allen, which Unieuro Forlì will have to do without for the playoffs. The point guard/player born in 1999 is the protagonist of a great season, but has had to go through difficult moments due to physical problems. “I tell Kadeem not to give up. Allen is a really strong player, his past clearly speaks of his talent and mentally he must hold on, also because he still has several years of career ahead of him,” he said.

Zampini and Valentini will have to replace Allen. “Since the beginning of the championship we have been used to helping each other. We are a united group and together with our teammates we will have to face several close and difficult matches from a technical and competitive point of view: we will be ready. The first series with Vigevano? We will have to be good at making our opponents immediately understand our ambitions. Vigevano is a long team, but probably doesn’t have the playoff experience of other teams. Thanks to the field factor and the support of the fans, which will be fundamental, we must start well and steer the series in our favor. The favourites? The playoffs are a lottery, also because physical condition and any injuries are important. Every year there are surprises compared to the initial predictions, so forward match after match.”

Renewal of coach Martino in Forlì. “I congratulate the club: it was good at continuing the relationship with the coach, before other entities could approach him. The positive results speak in favor of Martino, the coach was professional in managing the group and the renewal is certainly deserved and allows you to plan for the future.”
