Bisceglie honors the memory of Marshal Carlo De Trizio – BisceglieLive.it

The City of Bisceglie will pay homage to the memory of Carabinieri Marshal Carlo De Trizio, from Bisceglie who tragically died on 27 April 2006 in a terrorist attack in Nassiriya, Iraq, and was awarded the Cross of Honor to the victims of acts of terrorism or hostile acts in military and civilian operations abroad.

The ceremony will be held Saturday 27 April 2024 at the municipal cemetery of Bisceglie. At 10.30 am a Holy Mass will be celebrated by the Cemetery Chaplain, Don Francesco Colangelo, in the presence of the Mayor Angarano, Civil and Military Authorities, Carlo De Trizio’s family members and the Combat and Arms Associations. At the end of the religious function, the procession will head towards the tomb of the Bisceglie soldier, where a laurel wreath and a floral composition will be laid and military honors will be paid to the Deputy Assistant Marshal, Public Security Officer of the Carabinieri on the 18th anniversary of his disappearance.
