Naples, 24 April 2024 The calendar of maintenance works on the viaduct deck located at km 23.200 of the SS90 “delle Puglie” was defined today, following a technical discussion between Anas and the Municipality of Ariano Irpino. The meeting was attended by, among others, the Manager of Anas Campania, Nicola Montesano, the Manager of the Network Management Area of Anas Campania, Sandro Assunto, the Manager of Scheduled Maintenance of Anas Campania, Rocco Renzullo, the Works Management of Anas and the Mayor of Ariano Irpino, Enrico Franza. The part of the interventions that will affect the extrados of the work (and therefore traffic) will be started starting from next May 20th, with completion set by October 21st 2024. For the safe execution of these works – which will consist of the rehabilitation structural elements of the reinforced concrete deck and lateral curbs, in the installation of new road barriers and in the replacement of the supports of the works, in addition to the new road pavement, including the relevant signs – the alternate one-way system will be established, regulated by a traffic light system , with staff support during peak hours. The activities will make it possible to enhance the safety and practicability standards of the infrastructure, also increasing the useful life of the work.
