CARRARA – The Police Commissioner of the province of Lucca Edgardo Giobbi, through the Anti-Crime Police Division, is giving a strong boost to the tool of prevention measures, the adoption of which is entrusted by law to the Police Commissioner in his capacity as Provincial Public Security Authority. With reference to sports DASPO, 2 measures have recently been adopted which prohibit access to sports facilities throughout the national territory to as many individuals: the first, on the proposal of the Carabinieri of Pietrasanta, because during a youth football match he had slapped a young man footballer of the opposing team, who had had an argument with his son during the match; the second to a young ultras from Carrarese, who last April 21st hit a policeman with a stone and threw smoke bombs at the police. Thanks to the concrete determination of the Municipality of Lucca, among other things, which has planned a notable improvement in the video surveillance system functional to the control of events at the Porta Elisa stadium, any disturbance situations will be able to be monitored with greater efficiency in the attribution of individual responsibility
