Green light from the Joint Justice Committee – Ministry of Infrastructure

The Justice – Ministry of Infrastructure Joint Committee has approved the implementation of new interventions in the field of penitentiary buildings for a total value of over 36 million euros. In particular, works worth 2,300,000 euros were approved for the energy efficiency of the Agrigento prison and 1,900,000 euros for the structural adaptation of the Sciacca prison, with the creation of 20 new detention places.
