“The illuminated factory”, one of the iconic works of Luigi Nono, one of the greatest exponents of the Italian musical avant-garde of the 1960s, will be revived on Tuesday 30 April, starting at 6.30 pm, in the Hall of the Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza.

This is a co-production by Fondazione Monte di Pietà di Vicenza, Palazzo del Monte Srl and Città di Vicenza, based on a project by Filippo Furlan, specifically designed to be included among the collateral events of the exhibition “Pop/Beat Italia 1960 -1979. Free to dream”, which is taking place in the Palladian Hall.

The protagonists of the composition for solo voice and magnetic tape, which intends to pay homage to the centenary of the birth of Luigi Nono and the 60 years since the first performance which took place at the Venice Biennale in 1964, will be the Soprano Felicita Brusoni and the musician and sound director Alvise Vidolin, authentic custodian of Nono’s sound art, who has collaborated and collaborates with the main contemporary composers in Italy and abroad.

Before the performance there will be a brief introduction to listening by Alvise Vidolin and Filippo Furlan.

Free entry without reservation, subject to availability.
