“Dance Competition Sicily”, success for the Fusion Dance Academy

Great success for the Asd “Fusion Dance” Academy of maestro Vincenzo Ville who took home a very rich loot during the Dance Competition Sicily which was held this weekend just spent in Catania.

“Dance Competition Sicily”, what a success!

The dance competition took place in the Etna capital this weekend and attracted many participants. For the students of “Fusion Dance” the event was a real success: 13 victories out of 13 (9 groups and 4 solos). A lot of commitment and a lot of pre-race effort repaid by these important podiums. Judging the dancers was a jury of external experts of the highest level technicians.

In detail, these were the podiums of the Fusion Dance Academy:

• Junior group under 13 Syncro Open 1st place;
• Kristal – Solo Carribbean Swing – under 8 Ranked 2nd out of 22;
• Baby Syncro Open Under 8 Group 1st place;
• Adamo Chiara- Assolo- Carribean Shine – Under 18, 2nd place out of 17;
• Junior Group Under 13 choreographic open 1st place;
• Choreographic Open Under 18 2nd place;
• Show Open Under 18 2nd place;
• Carribean Show Under 18 2nd Place;
• La Rocca Camilla – Solo, Carribean Shine Over 19, 1st place and scholarship;
• Carribean Show Over 19 2nd Place;
• Choreographic Open Over 19 1st Place;
• Syncro Open Over 35 I Ranked;
• Gisabella Desyrée -Solo Carribean Shine Under 8 V Ranked out of 22.

“Dance Competition Sicily”: the satisfaction of maestro Ville

This is the comment of maestro Vincenzo Ville at the end of the race: “What can I say! I’m overjoyed,” he begins.

“Many years of competitions and successes, but competing always remains a great emotion”points out.

“We put a lot of effort into this championship and I admit with great pride and joy that the results were sensational, 13 victories out of 13”.

And then he explains, “For the first time I brought the group of mothers and grandmothers from our school to the competition and they were really appreciated by everyone, my heart filled with pride when, at the end of their performance, I saw the judges stand up and applaud.”

After the race, eyes focused on the future without losing sight of the present: “Now we have new goals and new projects for the following months, including new competitions, internships and the end-of-year recital”.

“Obviously, thanks also go to my collaborators who support me with great commitment and professionalism: the teacher Rosalba Chillemi, the teacher Peppe Cuba, the teacher Alessandro Scalora and the teachers Flavia and Ilenia Cillepi”.

“And then a huge thank you goes to the fantastic parents of our kids who support them in sport with so much love and commitment, helping them to grow in a healthy way. Finally, thanks go to my students. My dancers are all with their feet firmly planted on the ground and have the concept of humility and family very clear in their heads. For me Fusion Dance is home!”.
