The Carabinieri of the Torre del Greco company executed a precautionary order issued by the investigating judge at the Nola court, at the request of the public prosecutor’s office of Nola, against two people, residents of Massa di Somma.
They are seriously accused of the crimes of possession and carrying of a common firearm in a public place, since, in the first days of April, in Massa di Somma, near a public housing complex, they exploded a shot with a pistol of a gunshot at a car, on board which there was a person known to them, who remained unharmed. After the incident the two fled on a scooter.
It was the victim who asked the police for help, having fled after the shot exploded, fearing for his own safety.
The investigative activities, started immediately after the event, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Nola, were conducted by the Carabinieri of the Operational Section of Torre del Greco and the San Sebastiano al Vesuvio station, and made it possible to promptly shed light on the exact dynamics of the facts, gathering serious indications of guilt against the suspects, thanks also to the testimonies provided by the victim’s family.
Those arrested, in consideration of the serious facts in question, were sent to prison, at the disposal of the judicial authorities. The measures carried out are precautionary measures, ordered during preliminary investigations, against which appeals are permitted and the recipients of the same are people subjected to investigations and, as such, presumed innocent until a final sentence is reached.
