On the pitch of the “Raciti” the hosts Città di Siderno, winners of group E of the Second Category, and Polisportiva Bagaladi, winners of group F of the Third Category, face each other for the Super Cup match of the Province of Reggio Calabria of the two championships organized by the Gioia Tauro Delegation.
The difference category and the friendly ground direct the challenge towards Città di Siderno who unlocks it after seventeen minutes with captain Mario Fuda on a penalty kick and then legitimates it in the second half with goals from Antonio Commisso (double), Albanese and Carabetta, the latter king of the bombers in the regular season. At the end of the match, both were rewarded for winning their respective championships, with Città di Siderno giving themselves the double by raising the Provincial Super Cup to the skies in front of the home crowd.
