Vittoria presents the Mostro, an enduro tire for loose surfaces.
[Comunicato stampa] Born after a year of incessant product development and testing together with the Commençal ICStudio downhill team and the Abetone Ancillotti Vittoria enduro team, Mostro has arrived to conquer the most challenging courses of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series.
After Mazza, Martello and Mota, the “M” for Mostro also joins the ranks, offering gravity mountain bike enthusiasts the ultimate tire solution for rough terrain.
New tread design for maximum speed and control
Mostro boasts an innovative tread design engineered to deliver unprecedented speed and control on enduro trails. Featuring a new tread design with V formation, alternating central blocks and pronounced side blocks, Mostro guarantees constant stability on rocks, roots and uneven surfaces. The innovative tread profile, featuring progressive grooves in the vertical plane and stepped blocks, improves traction and cornering while facilitating rapid acceleration. The Monster’s side knobs grip like an anchor during braking, without slowing down the tire’s rolling performance.
Two casing and compound options to meet the needs of every biker
Keeping in mind the different needs of cyclists, Mostro is available in two distinct variants: Mostro Enduro Race and Mostro Enduro.
Monster Enduro Race: Designed with new Race Formulation technology, this variant features a unique soft rubber compound powered by graphene + silica to deliver uncompromising speed and grip. It is applied to a robust, reinforced multi-layer caecast, which offers durability and abrasion resistance, optimized for race. Further protection against punctures is provided by a reinforcement layer positioned at the bottom of the carcass and a puncture-proof belt at the top of the carcass. Finally, the Sidewall Stability Insert protects the tire from pinch flats and provides additional sidewall support thanks to its high-tech rubber material.
Enduro Monster: Utilizes advanced 4Compound technology with 4 graphene-powered compounds strategically positioned to deliver an unrivaled blend of speed, grip and durability. The tread is applied to a 2-layer 120 TPI nylon carcass that is resistant to abrasion and punctures. It also features the same sidewall stability feature as the Enduro Race version, which protects the tire from pinch flats and provides additional sidewall support thanks to its high-tech rubber material.
Both versions offer unparalleled gravity riding performance when paired with Vittoria Air-Liner Protect inserts.
Both the Mostro Enduro Race and Mostro Enduro versions use World Championship-proven Tubeless-ready technology with a folding aramid heel for easy inflation and reliable air retention. Mostro Enduro Race and Mostro Enduro are compatible with hookless rims of all sizes.
