A short distance from the crucial match against Ternana, Greta Adami made some statements to Be.Pi.Tvdiscussing the next challenge, his move to Lazio and its future prospects.

“Definitely a beautiful journey for the whole team. When I arrived the team was already first in the table, there was a lot of growth. On a personal level, I arrived with some physical problems and it wasn’t easy. Joining a new team in January is not very easy and the coach also has a very specific style of play in which you have to enter 360° and understand everything. I had a little difficulty with this, a completely different type of game. It took me a few weeks to get in. But I’m growing a lot.”
“Season finale, what do I expect? We certainly have a great desire to win and do well. We were very good at never lowering the tension, always trying to enter the field with the right determination. The last three games are very difficult. Now we have Ternana, it will be difficult. They are a great team with the desire to catch us and overcome us if possible. We know we can play our game. How do we live this week? It was special, we prepared Wednesday’s in one day and Sunday’s in two days.”
“What if, given the loan, I prefer to stay at Lazio or return to Milan? For now I’d like to win the championship with Lazio, I’m not thinking about it afterwards. I’m thinking about giving it my all. Playing in Serie B? It was a bit difficult, I arrived in Serie A when I was 19 years old. I had gained experience before in A2. In recent years we know how much women’s football has changed, but I must say that the level is also high in Serie B. I wanted stimulation and I chose this club, I’m happy. I thought I would find a lower level but no, I’m happy with this. When I arrived in Florence there were no professional teams, we trained in the evening and we didn’t have all these staff people following us.”
“National? It’s every child’s dream, a great source of pride. I had the chance to wear the national team shirt for a few years, I would have liked to go to the World Cup but it wasn’t possible. There are good memories. You learn so many things, it’s a thrill to take the field with the national team shirt and hear the anthem. What if, at a staff level, does it have the same organization as the club? At staff level, it depends on the company you are in, but there are always doctors and physiotherapists. For the rest, however, we are there.”
“Can the top four of this Serie B stay in Serie A? This year’s Serie A is more balanced, it has leveled out. I think it’s a good level of top four in our league, so I would say yes. As they have grown, we will grow too.”

“Football has changed a lot, on a personal level I realized this both at Fiorentina and at Milan. Even foreigners have approached women’s football, when I was at Fiorentina there were very few of them. How much did their arrival have an impact? Women’s football was more developed abroad, they brought experience. They have a different approach, we learned something from this too.”
