The closing event of the “1 nobody 100giga” Pilot Project represents a significant moment in the Sicilian Region’s commitment to fighting bullying and cyberbullying. Based on Law no. 71 of 29 May 2017, which introduced important innovations in the prevention of these phenomena, the project aims to support the most vulnerable subjects through coordinated training actions for students, parents and teachers, promoting an integrated approach between schools and the territory.
Thanks to the funding of the Department of Education and Professional Training of the Sicilian Region and the collaboration of partners such as Telefono Azzurro and the “Carolina” and “Mabasta” associations, the project actively involved schools in the province of Ragusa with training and information activities aimed at students, teachers and parents.
An important result of the project was the activation of a toll-free number dedicated to children and adolescents, available from Monday to Friday from 2pm to 8pm, to offer support and free guidance on issues related to bullying and cyberbullying. This service, managed by the ONLUS Telefono Azzurro Foundation, was integrated by a live chat on the project website, guaranteeing an additional channel of communication and support.
The closing event, which will be held on May 10th at the Teatro Tenda in Ragusa, will see the participation of experts, project partners and testimonials from the world of culture, entertainment, music and sport, such as Leo Gassman, Francesco Panarella (Cucciolo) and Vincenzo Ferrera, protagonists of the Mare Fuori series. This moment will encourage discussion and reflection with the students, enriching the debate with the experiences and experiences of each one, and represents an important opportunity to consolidate efforts in combating bullying and cyberbullying.
