Even without the Mpa symbol, the autonomists could be the basis of a sixth list which would effectively equalize the score with the “six sisters” of the broad moderate-centre-right pact, instead in support of the engineer Grazia Cosentino. The five lists already defined, including the M5s and Pd, are almost completely closed. Di Stefano, in this period, has awaited the decisions of groups not yet aligned and the arrival of the autonomists would repeat the experience of the council already shared (in any case only partial) and that of the regional ones last year, when around the candidacy for the ‘Ars di Caci concentrated the efforts of these political areas. It is no coincidence that the possible yes of councilor Romina Morselli, who in turn is in contact with Di Stefano and the allies and is already present in the regional group, is still being discussed. In the evening, however, other Mpa exponents, led by the group leader Diego Iaglietti, will formalize their support for “Alleanza per Gela” and the candidate for mayor Salvatore Scerra. Another councilor linked to the Lombard experience, the doctor Giuseppe Guastella, is already placed in that group.
