It’s still Ebba Andersson against Frida Karlsson. The two hosts, after battling it out in the Ford Smart Energy Cup in Sollefteå, repeated themselves on the second day of the Fjälltopphelgen, a 35 km free run (called Fjälltopploppet) which takes place in Bruksvallarna.

Andersson won, or rather dominated, beating her compatriot with a time of 1h27’30″0, ahead of her by a good 3’29″4. The Swedish trio is completed by Moa Hansson (+7’04″8), who precedes a very good Sara Hutter of 45″1. A good performance by the Italian from GS Fiamme Oro, who in the last 10 km conquered two positions until she grabbed 4th place ahead of Mari Grøtli Svergja.

In the men’s competition the fight is much more lively: also in this case it is a Swedish trio, this time led by Gustaf Berglund with a time of 1h19’19″1. The 1998 born athlete precedes Axel Jutterström in the sprint (+4″1) and by 39 “7 Fredrik Andersson. The best of the Azzurri is Davide Ghio, who finishes in 13th place, 4’09 behind.
