Brescia approaches the contest at its best and after just fifteen seconds is already at the flag. As the minutes pass, the pattern is evident with Ternana limiting themselves to closing and restarting and Brescia struggling to find spaces in the dense opposing defence; at 13′ whites duet with Moncini and volleys with poor coordination. Shortly afterwards a counterattack orchestrated by Galazzi it was finished badly by Moncini, while in the 25th minute Cistana unmark Adorni with a brilliant assist, but the center forward hits weakly. The Rondinelle’s territorial dominance drops and in the 27th minute Ternana breaks the deadlock with Luperini with Moncini who tries in every way to save on the line: in the end his efforts are rewarded by VAR who cancels the goal because the ball did not completely cross the goal line. The pace slowly drops and Brescia reappears Vital only in recovery with Paghera who volleys centrally from outside the area.
