The most social pizza chef of the moment, author of videos and tutorials on YouTube that have millions of views and also very active on Instagram and Facebook, has arrived in Rome. After the last opening in chronological order in Bari (the first in Puglia), the wait for the inauguration was sparked by a laconic announcement on the site, where it was mentioned without details of dates or places. And so on April 18th the doors of Jamme Ja in Piazzale di Porta Pia, at number 123, the last and, after the Milanese one, perhaps the most important of the 14 openings managed (Naples, Avellino, Caserta, Milan, Berlin) between 2023 and 2024.

If Capuano generally moves the crowds, as well as with previews on the web, offering the first thousand pizzas at the inauguration, various gadgets and “grandfather Enzo’s” pasta, potatoes and provola for free, in this case he touched the Romans in the football faith. In the launch video, in fact, he introduces himself by opening a box of pizza in front of Porta Pia, where, however, there is a Roma shirt that Vincenzo puts on his shoulder, keeping it close to him while he shows some corners of the new restaurant still under construction, with the declared intent to pay homage to the city with the reference to the favorite team.

The Lazio players, however, don’t take it well. From «In 15 seconds of reel you lost half your customers» to «I like you but if you let me tell you, your marketing office is leaking. In Rome there are two teams. And jamme ja 50% of customers have already been cut. Phenomena”, the furious comments from the Biancocelesti were immediate. And so grandfather Enzo arrives, always alongside his grandson (while his father Luigi works in the Capuano’s pizzerias, same family but another brand), who in a subsequent reel pays homage to the other half of the Olimpico wearing the Lazio shirt while showing the restaurant once the work has been completed. Two ovens, counter, LED pizza slice on one wall, mezzanines and arches, while on the table there is no shortage of pizza scissors, the trademark of the house.
