It’s from the past few days signature of the decree awarding the first lot of the tender for the awarding of services to passengers and vehicles, for a total amount of over 3 million and 600 thousand euros: for the next 4 years it will be the Italpol Servizi fiduciari srl to manage the reception, reception, sorting and routing service of vehicles and passengers arriving and departing at the port of Olbia Isola Bianca and, limited to the summer season, at the Golfo Aranci port.
The Rome company, in fact, obtained the best score compared to the second place (the port company Filippo Corridoni), with a decline of 17.88 percent on the starting price, plus an improved package of services which includes the introduction of important technical innovations in traffic management and a better quality of the worker absorption plan. In particular, the offer of the winning company includes the installation of more advanced infomobility systems for the addressing of vehicles entering and exiting the port of Olbia, of equipment for traffic monitoring and, most importantly, the application of a new and more advantageous contractual formula.
The routing service will also cover for the summer season too the Golfo Aranci airportwith the aim of a better reorganization of flows to prevent congestion of urban roads. The lot just soldwhose contract will be stipulated once the administrative checks required by current regulations have been completed, completes the entire package of services put up for tender in April 2023, for a value of approximately 13 million and 790 thousand euros. In fact, in the month of March, the free shuttle bus service for the maritime station – ship section and vice versa of the port of Isola Bianca was awarded to the company SCIA – Consorzio Italiano Autoservizi srl of Sassari, which follows the one already entrusted, in December 2023, to the temporary grouping of companies SPS Srl and Fast Srl, both from Olbia, for the activity of info point, luggage storage, with assistance to passengers in boarding, disembarking and transit and
support for those with reduced mobility.
“With the recent award provision and net of the outcomes of the various administrative appeals presented, we are completing the process of awarding the substantial package of services to passengers and vehicles arriving and departing in the port of Olbia and, seasonally, in that of Golfo Aranci – he explains Massimo Deianapresident of the AdSP of the Sea of Sardinia: “Our objective is to further increase the flow management performance in the two ports, so as to be able to face, with maximum efficiency, a tourist season which, from the first data on traffic, it promises to be more than positive.”
