Today’s events

Arezzo – “Acupuncture, a world heritage site”: a conference at the Archaeosophical Association of Arezzo in its new headquarters in via Alessandro Dal Borro 58. This ancient therapeutic practice, an alternative to traditional medicine, has an uncertain origin. The first bibliographical references can in fact be found in a Chinese text dating back to the third century BC, the legendary “Emperor’s Canon of Internal Medicine”. This practice today also known and used in the West, and therefore also authorized in Italy, quickly spread to China and neighboring countries, such as Korea and India. The conference is scheduled for 5pm. The meeting is open to all and has free admission.

Arezzo – Margherita Vicario presents “Gloria!” at Cinema Eden

Arezzo – Arcigay Arezzo and Famiglie Arcobaleno Toscana invite citizens to learn about and play with the “Many Families” toolkit: 6 board games aimed at the 6-14 age group to introduce, inform, re-elaborate and get involved in the existence of different types of families. In the premises of the “Onda d’Urto” youth center in the park of Villa Severi in Arezzo, from 4pm to 6pm the toolkit will be presented by Ilaria Paolini, Tuscan representative of Famiglie Arcobaleno. Free entry, several game tables will be set up and a small snack will be offered.

Bibbiena – Natural Bike Casentino: in the saddle for the third edition

Bucine – At 5 pm in the premises of the Castelletto di Montebenichi vernissage of the collective exhibition Forme Luci Colori. Presentation by Maria Giovanna Cutini, art historian and critic, curator of the exhibition, with the participation of the artists: Giovanni Cardi sculptor, Ivan Del Prato painter, Lorenzo Boscucci visual artist. Exhibition organized by Associazione Per la Valdambra, Castelletto di Montebenichi, ElePHAS Aps, Atelier Canard, sponsored by Sugar Music Milano and with the patronage and contribution of the municipality of Bucine. Three different artists come together to give life to an event whose unifying setting is the village of Montebenichi immersed in the astonishing spring landscape of the Upper Valdambra on the border with the Sienese Chianti.
