Serie B1 Women, Pantaleo Fasano receives Crotone on the “Salvemini” team

In the tenth return leg comes a challenge to continue chasing the promotion play-off dream

FASANO – We return home to defend with gritted teeth a play-off position, after the external blow on the field of Energy system Catania (2-3) in the last round. We are on the tenth return leg and Crotone Volleyball arrives on the “Salvemini” road. An apparently easy match for coach Paolo Totero’s girls thanks to the excellent period of form they are going through. Calabresi still in the standings with just 12 points and in full battle to achieve mathematical retention in the championship.

“We must immediately find the right concentration for this important commitment which precedes two very important matches and both far from home. Crotone is a roster that is hungry for points for their ranking and this must put us in the right conditions to not concede anything to our opponents right from the start because never more than in this moment is it very important to skimp on energy in view of a championship finale very challenging”.

In the first leg the Fasano team had no problem imposing themselves against Crotone, taking home all that was at stake. Calabrians trained by coach Emiliano Giandomenico, and made up of a group of good players, including Vittoria Belotti, Chiara Santabrogio, Claudia Bellanca and Izabela Kus. A team whose last victory dates back to last March 13th against Terrasini. From then on only defeats and a decidedly complicated ranking to avoid the relegation play-offs.

The starting whistle is set for 6pm at the “Salvemini” gym with the match direction entrusted to Guido Ventre and Giovanni Di Martino.
