An important milestone for the “Don Milani” Educational Directorate of Terni: the teacher Daniele Martelli was recognized as Google for Education Certified Trainer, first in the province of Terni. This is a prestigious recognition that rewards the teacher and the Institute’s commitment to educational innovation and the use of digital technologies.

Google recognized the prof. Hammer the skills needed to support colleagues in using Google Workspace for Education, digital tools that help improve communication, collaboration and productivity in the classroom. Being a Google Certified Trainer means being a reference for educational innovation for all schools in the area.

Daniele Martelli, primary school teacher at the Institute and lower secondary school at the “Leonino” Institute, teaches Catholic religion and is a digital animator, who has been involved in innovation in the world of school for years.

“I am thrilled to have achieved this goal – declared the prof. Martelli – I am convinced that the conscious use of digital technologies can be a great advantage for student learning, both for the Catholic religion and for all other disciplines. Educating students in this type of learning means raising children who are ready for the needs of the world of work today and tomorrow.”

In recent years, the “Don Milani” Educational Directorate has wanted to give a particular acceleration in the digitalisation of teaching to try to keep up with today’s new skills. In fact, the Institute, adopting the objectives of the National Digital School Plan and the PNRR, has activated a series of initiatives to encourage the use of digital technologies in the classroom.

“We are very proud of the goal achieved by our Digital Animator – stated the head teacher, prof. Luigi Sinibaldi – this recognition confirms our commitment to educational innovation and the use of digital technologies to improve student learning”.
