Kadabra’s influences are clear: Dead Meadow, Pentagram, Obsessed, Electric Wizard, Black Sabbath. They let themselves go into clouds of smoke, blinding headlights drowned in a gloomy atmosphere, in which an unlimited vintage sense dominates, a classic aesthetic, music that offers space for improvisations, for a psychotic abuse of the wah wah, with an abrasive rendition, deliberately dirty, in which even melodies and solos are sucked into a bottomless pit with energetic impetus.

The band formed during the dark days of 2020 and were quickly signed by Heavy Psych Sounds, who released Ultra in the fall of 2021 and established the group’s penchant for delivering crushing doom riffs and haunting vocals accented by explosions of psychedelic flair and American swagger. If the chemistry between longtime friends Garrett Zanol (guitar/vocals), Ian Nelson (bass) and Chase Howard (drums) was already evident when listening to their debut, their bond was further strengthened thanks to incessant touring in the Western United States and upon completion of a month-long tour of Europe. The trio almost immediately began looking ahead, testing and crystallizing the songs that would make up their follow-up, which saw the band reunite with Ultra producer Dawson Scholz. The result is Umbra: a singular statement that is more focused and cohesive than its predecessor, while still managing to capture the immersive and fluid experience of their live show.
Hecho Mierda (from the Spanish for “made to shit”) are a Stoner Rock band from Genoa, formed at the end of 2022 from the meeting of 4 unlikely beer sommeliers. Their sound, influenced by Kyuss and Soundgarden, is characterized by fuzz-filled riffs and screamed vocal lines. They released their first EP in January 2024 and are currently working on new unreleased songs.
