Another 18 Daspo for the clashes during the Perugia – Pineto football match on March 23rd against the same number of Perugia fans. After the 3 arrests in recent weeks (and as many Daspos against those arrested), the Perugia Police Headquarters has issued numerous other measures prohibiting access to the stadium. While 5 stewards will no longer be able to work in sports facilities.

During the Serie C match on March 23rd at the Curi stadium, in fact, numerous fans had thrown seats and smoke bombs into the Curva Nord. Clashes that led the referee to suspend the match for a few minutes.

Last March 28, the Police Commissioner of Perugia had already issued 3 Daspo measures against as many fans who, following the clashes, had been arrested by the digos; against them, the Judge had also ordered the precautionary measure of the obligation to report to the Judicial Police. Thanks to the investigations by the Digos of Perugia and the careful viewing of the images from the video surveillance system as well as the footage taken by the Scientific Police, the investigators have traced the identity of the other fans involved, who are now the recipients of the measures in question.

The 18 provisions will prohibit the recipients from accessing football, Italian Cup, international cups and championship sporting events for a period ranging from 5 to 10 years taking into account the seriousness of the individual conduct and previous prejudices. The 18 fans will also be prohibited – starting from two hours before and until two hours after the conclusion of the sporting event – from accessing and parking in an area within 400 meters of the places in front of the stadium, the railway stations affected by the arrival or departure of fans, public car parks serving sports facilities, training places and retreats of football teams, as well as, in an area within 200 meters of distance from other places affected by parking, to the transit or transport of those who participate or attend the same events. Any violation of the ban may be punished with a prison sentence of between one and three years and a fine of between 10 thousand and 40 thousand euros.

In the same context, the Prefect of the province of Terni, on the proposal of the Perugia Police Headquarters, also ordered the ban on the employment – at all national sports facilities – of 5 stewards who, on the occasion of the football match in question , allowed illegal access to the stadium by some fans without valid entry tickets.
