The Stringher takes home two medals at the hotel institute competition.
Sixteen Italian and European hotel institutes competing: among these, the Bonaldo Stringher of Udine which confirmed the quality of its school education by bringing two of his students on the podium of the international competition “Bartolomeo Scappi” in Castel San Pietro Terme, in the Bologna area.
For three days eight Italian institutes in the hotel sector and the same number from various European countries took part compared in their respective areas of specialization, such as Room and Sales, Tourist Reception and Food and Wine. The “Stringher” returned to Friuli with the second place for Syria Notarfrancesco in the cafeteria sector and the third by Davide Zanchetta in the kitchen sector.
A very respectable result which was welcomed with satisfaction by the students and their staff
teachers from the Viale Monsignor Nogara school. Among the most anticipated events in Castel San Pietro is also the Slow Slurp food and wine exhibition organized in the central Piazza XX Settembre of the Emilian town, with students from all the institutes to tell and make people taste the products of their respective territories. Friuli presented, in addition to DOP products from gastronomesa, also wines and coffee offered by various companies in the region.
Ciro Ciotoladirector of Stringher, expressed satisfaction “with the results which testify to the high level of professionalism of the teachers and the passion of the students who are now recognized in all national events”. Thanks went to the teachers Pareschi and Smeragliuolo “for supporting the students by enhancing their talents”
