The story of the Syrian girl fleeing the war

Here the 17-year-old was separated from the others and taken to a house, where she was kept segregated and forced to call her father asking to pay the kidnappers a sum of money for her release.
One of the kidnappers had raped the girl and had it divecausing him several injuries including a broken arm.
After payment of the ransom the 17 year old was loaded into the car and taken to Lodi, where she was abandoned in the car park where she was finally rescued.
The investigations of the Lodi Flying Squad, coordinated by the local Prosecutor’s Office and the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Bologna, led first to the identification of the criminal gang and then to their capture.
Meanwhile, the 17-year-old was able to reunite with her family: they left Italy and joined relatives in Germany.
